Mr Ashton Tan was in private legal practice prior to joining The Arbitration Chambers. While in practice, he represented parties in commercial litigation in varied sectors ranging from F & B, shareholders, joint ventures, partnership, shipping, energy, commodities to construction and manufacturing. Some of his work included arbitrations both ad hoc as well as those administered by the SIAC and the LCIA. He joined The Arbitration Chambers as a Law Clerk in 2023 and now assists and supports TAC Resident members.

Ashton graduated from the University of Warwick, did his legal training in Singapore and was admitted in 2017 to practice in Singapore. He is effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
