We are saddened to note that our fellow resident, the late Sir Anthony Colman, had passed on peacefully in London on 27 July 2017.
Sir Anthony had a very distinguished legal and judicial career. A scholar from of Trinity College Cambridge, he practised at the English commercial bar from 1962 to 1992. He was appointed as a Queen’s Counsel in 1977 and Master of the Bench at Gray’s Inn in 1986. Following his retirement from the English High Court in 2007, he took on numerous appointments as arbitrator in different jurisdictions. He also took on judicial appointments in Dubai International Financial Centre and in Trinidad and Tobago.
We are very honoured to be associated with Sir Anthony and are deeply saddened by his demise. Residents and staff of the Chambers join his family in their grieving his passing.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
